Root Quencher Spike is the latest in subsurface watering for drip irrigation. Designed for Homeowners and Landscape professionals, Root Quencher Spike installs directly onto a ½-inch drip line with its self-piercing capability, providing extra water to plants that need it along any drip system. The cap serves as a flow control and with our 90-degree adapter (included) you can connect a ¼-inch line and locate the Spike wherever a little extra water is needed.

The original Root Quencher is a deep watering device that is installed partially underground to deliver water to trees, shrubs, and other plants while maintaining access to flow control and enabling easy additions of fertilizers. It also eliminates evaporation and run-off effectively, saving 50%+ in water usage.

Root Quencher Jr. is a deep root watering device designed for smaller shrubs, bushes, and plants. When a drip hose isn't enough but a full-sized RQ is too large, the RQ Jr. can give your plants the benefit of watering deeply and adding fertilizer and nutrients exactly where they're needed—the roots.
